EPIC is owned and operated by its members. The annual budget is supported by subscription fees which are scaled to encourage participation of SMEs, R&D laboratories and universities, as well as larger companies.

EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium) is working with industries, universities, and the European Commission to build a more competitive photonics industrialsector in the Europeaneconomic area, capable of both economic and technological growth in a highly competitive world-wide marketplace.
